Meet Ariel
My approach as a therapist is warm, down-to-earth, and holistic, focusing on understanding each person as a whole. I believe the best therapy happens when you can truly be yourself—unfiltered, comfortable, and understood. My style is genuine and collaborative: some days we might be laughing or keeping things casual, and other days, it’s about getting real, being direct, and doing the deeper work. I tailor my approach to each person, meeting you where you are and adapting to what you need most in the moment.
I received both my BSW and MSW from Florida Atlantic University and I am licensed in the state of Florida. Earlier in my career, I worked with children and adults living with chronic illness, with women in recovery, and with individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges. I spent time doing community work — leading support groups, providing case management, and helping people access the resources they needed. For the past seven years, I provided therapy at Jewish Family Services in Boca Raton, working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life. Currently, I provide therapy in my private practice, virtually and here in Boca Raton, which allows me the freedom to tailor each session to the individual, focus on what matters most to my clients, and narrow my work to the areas where I can make the greatest impact. I’m committed to ongoing professional development and have received advanced training as an EMDR therapist and a certification in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), along with additional coursework in narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches. I am passionate about helping people feel less alone, normalizing what they’re going through, and uncovering the potential they might not yet see in themselves.
Outside the therapy room, I love spending time with my friends and family, exploring all things beauty and makeup, traveling to unique places, and soaking up the sunshine. I adore spending time with my senior dog and playing with my best friends’ babies — they keep me grounded, joyful, and reminded of what really matters. I try to find meaning in small joys…a good conversation, a great playlist, or a beautiful view. I try to bring that same appreciation for authenticity, humor, and connection into my work with clients.
